Poetry

For me, poetry evokes the sacred in our lives. When I write, I strive for intuitive play and formal sense.

Seven Keys to Being

In 2008, I published this chapbook of poems. The work emerged from two years of exploring the Western esoteric elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth) and directions (Above, Below, Center).

The poems are accompanied by illustrations made by my own shaky hand. I’ve never been a great artist, but I felt the drawings added to the depth of the work, suggesting the beauty of the hesitant and uncertain steps we take in our spiritual journey.
